In Mold Labeling Machine
In mold labeling is a pre-decorating technique used worldwide for blow molded bottles as well as injection molded and thermoformed containers or other plastic objects. Among the wide variety of consumer products packaged in mold labeled containers are laundry products, household cleaners, personal care products, motor oil and other automotive products, agricultural and garden products, food and liquor.
Specifications:
- Containers fabricated using in-mold labeling processes have a higher quality label surface and overall appearance. Typical in-mold labeling (IML) processes involve:
(1) Locating the label inside the blow mold and;
(2) Blowing the parison in the mold against the containes of the mold.
The heat from the parison and the pressure generated by the blow medium activates adhesive on the back of the label to bind the label on the blown container side wall.
